Jonathan U. Lee is an Assistant U.S. Attorney based in San Francisco. In 2022, he proposed the formation of the Contra Costa County Bar Association's Port Chicago Task Force and he served as its Chair through the Navy's exoneration orders. Currently, he is co-chair with Yulie Padmore. His volunteer work on the Task Force and in drafting this article are in his personal capacity only.
