John A. Hartog

John A. Hartog focuses his practice on trust and estate planning, administration, expert witness consulting, and litigation. Extensively published, he has co-authored three practice guides essential to professionals in the field: California Wills & Trusts, California Trust Practice and California Trust Litigation. He is also a legal consultant to the California Wills and Trusts document assembly program; a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel; certified by the California Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in taxation law and in estate planning, trust and probate law; past chair of the executive committee of the Trust and Estates Section of the California Lawyers Association, as well as past chair of the Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law Advisory Commission to the California Board of Legal Specialization.
