A Far Better Gig

Lawyers at IP and entertainment firm One LLP found their niche after trying other careers.

Copyright and trademark litigator Joanna Ardalan first came to California hoping to land a job in the music business.

"I went to USC for music," Ardalan said. "And I started a sound library software company for musicians and composers. Basically, it was software that came with a preset set of sounds and a way to manipulate those sounds - like adding filters."
