Public access to bankruptcy proceedings, including that of the Pacific Gas & Electric Corp., in the Northern District of California may be limited due to court closures caused by the coronavirus.

While the district court has opted to set up its own system to conduct hearings using publicly accessible conference lines, the bankruptcy court is directing people to use CourtCall, a privatized remote appearance platform.
