Brian Douglas Murray was promoted to partner of Trucker Huss APC in Los Angeles. The promotion is effective Jul. 1, 2025.

Murray concentrates his practice on employee benefits, with a focus on ERISA litigation. He represents plan sponsors, trustees, and other fiduciaries in a wide range of employee benefits cases, including 401(k) class action litigation, claims for retirement, medical, disability, and other benefits, ESOP and multiemployer pension plan disputes, and cases involving executive compensation. In addition to his litigation practice, he counsels clients on a variety of matters, including fiduciary responsibility, operational corrections, and regulatory compliance. Murray also represents plan fiduciaries in Department of Labor investigations.


Adrine Adjemian Cargill was promoted to partner of Trucker Huss APC in San Francisco. The promotion is effective Jan. 7, 2025.

Cargill concentrates her practice in the area of retirement plans and advises clients on issues regarding 401(k) plans, profit sharing plans, money purchase pension plans, cash balance plans, and traditional defined benefit plans. She also regularly works with multiemployer plans and plans of tax-exempt entities, public schools, and universities, including 403(b) and 457 plans. She assists clients with drafting plan documents, SPDs and amendments; preparing employee communications; analyzing plan administrative and fiduciary issues; preparing submissions to the Internal Revenue Service ("IRS") and Department of Labor; reviewing qualified domestic relations orders ("QDROs"); conducting M&A due diligence; preparing plan committee charters, bylaws, and resolutions; and resolving ERISA and Internal Revenue Code compliance issues raised in connection with investigations or audits by the Department of Labor or IRS. She also assists with the review and negotiation of service provider agreements, including investment management agreements.
